Multiple agencies responded to a house fire Sunday evening south of Fort Scott. Delwin Mumbower, coordinator for Bourbon County Fire District No. 3, said fire departments responded just after 5:30 p.m. to a report of a structure fire in the 2100 area of Grand Road. Tiger cross-country enjoys large turnout

In addition to football, all other fall sports at Fort Scott High School held their first practices Monday. These sports are volleyball, soccer, cross-country, girls' golf and girls' tennis. The Tribune was able to get reports from three of those sports Monday. Tracey Bogina has reported 23 out for her cross-country squad, the highest in many years...
