Betty Jean Austin, age 75, a resident of Fort Scott, Kan., passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born Aug. 15, 1939, on south Cedar Street in Nevada, Mo., the daughter of Guy Townley and Margaret Baldwin Townley. She was born June 3, 1923 in Redfield, Kan., the daughter of Glenn Gilbert and Goldie Ann (Mangold) Ruthrauff. She married John E. Royston in 1943 in Uniontown, Kan., and he preceded her in death Dec. 14, 1988...

Eddie Cale Rinehart, 55 of Nashville, Tenn., ended his 12-year battle with cancer on March 3, 2015 with his family by his side at home.
