Phyllis Jean Hanken, 82, of Fort Scott, died Friday afternoon, Dec. 26, 2014 at Fort Scott Mercy Hospital. Funeral arrangements for Phyllis Hanken are incomplete and will be announced later by the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.

Patricia Rae Kreutzer, age 71, a former resident of Pittsburg, Kan., and more recently of Fort Scott, Kan., died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at the Fort Scott Mercy Hospital. She was born June 28, 1943, in Lamar, Mo., the daughter of Ray Andrews Caruthers and Evelyn Laverne Ison Caruthers. ...
