USD 235 board considering bond issue

FSMS girls' basketball season underway

Fort Scott Middle School's girls' basketball teams got their seasons underway last week. Each team has played two games The eighth-grade A and B teams are each 1-1 after winning at Iola on Nov. 6 and losing to Coffeyville-Roosevelt on Nov. 11. The seventh-grade teams were swept at Iola while the A team lost at Coffeyville. The seventh-grade "A" team lost to Iola, 33-18. Tacy Holston led Fort Scott with 10 points.
