Officials address questions during first bond forum

USD 234 officials provided information on a proposed $40.8 million district bond issue and fielded some questions from attendees during the first of four planned public forums on the proposal Tuesday evening at Fort Scott High School. About 35 to 40 people attended the forum, which took place inside the high school's media center, to hear details on the proposal and some concerns that have been raised regarding the bond issue, which would pay for improvements district-wide at all four school buildings and the district stadium.. ...
