Robert Guy Olney, Jr., age 66, resident of Fort Scott, Kan., died Friday, March 7, 2014, at the Landmark Hospital, Joplin, Mo. He was born Sept. 28, 1947, in Bartlesville, Okla., the son of Robert Guy Olney, Sr. and Helen Puckett Olney. He married Claudia Marie Wright in 1966 in Iola, Kan. They lived and raised their family in Iola until they were divorced in 1986. Robert later moved to Fort Scott. He greatly enjoyed his time visiting with friends and neighbors at the Highrise on Scott Avenue...
