Ada Louise Beal, age 86, a resident of Ft. Scott, Kan., died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at the Fort Scott Medicalodge. She was born March 2, 1927, in Fort Scott, the daughter of Frank W. Beal and Ethel Galvin Beal. Ada had worked for many years as a Certified Lab Assistant for both Newman Young Clinic and Mercy Hospital. She had also served as caretaker of the Lath Branch Cemetery.
