Some tuition rising at FSCC

Among the long list of motions passed during Thursday's rescheduled Fort Scott Community College Board of Trustees meeting were several items regarding fees and tuition for the 2013-2014 school year. Trustees approved a motion to keep in-county tuition at $47 per credit hour, but raised in-state tuition $3 to $50 per credit hour. Contiguous State tuition will be $78, Out-of-State $106 and International $128, which all represent a $3 increase per credit hour...

The Bourbon County Commissioners are playing hosts this year to a meeting of 17 counties in the Southeast Kansas District of counties on March 21at the Danny and Willa Ellis Family Fine Arts Center on the Fort Scott Community College campus.
