FSHS Scholars' Bowl team hosts home tourney

Fort Scott Scholars' Bowl teams hosted their home tournament. Twenty-four teams competed in three pools of round-robin style, and then the top eight teams competed in single-elimination style. Friday, the Fort Scott Public Library will join SEKnFind, a consortium managed by the Southeast Kansas Library system. Over 30 libraries are members of SEKnFind and share a single automated system for the catalog and circulation systems. Ty's battle gives Lundbergs hope

Nineteen-month-old Ty Lundberg has been through 29 rounds of chemotherapy and then surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. Through it all, his mother, Jacki Lundberg, says that "He's always been strong, he does whatever we take him to do."
