Fort Scott City Commissioners on Tuesday approved allocating $1,000 to General Public Transportation to help keep its wheels turning -- if it is unable to obtain support from other sources. General Public Transportation needs about $9,000 by June 30 to meet a local matching grant, or the service will most likely face closure.
