Fort Scott was in the holiday spirit this year as homes around town were decorated with an array of lights and decorations. The "Light Up Fort Scott" light display contest attracted entries in the traditional and religious categories. Dolly Hollyday Tours, which ran from Dec. 15--23, took riders on a festive tour around town to view the houses entered in the contest, plus a few local favorites...

The Fort Scott Area Chamber of Commerce's weekly coffee will be held at 8 a.m. Thursday at Lyon's Twin Mansions Bed & Breakfast Hotel & Dining, on the corner of Eighth Street and National Avenue.
