City cuts $32k from street, sidewalk program

The City of Fort Scott has cut more than a third of the funding for it's annual street improvements in efforts to keep the mill levy down. On July 20, the Fort Scott City Commission approved Fort Scott City Manager Joe Turner's proposal which would cut 40 percent of the funding for the 2010 Street Improvement Program.
