Soccer postponed; golf, cross-country canceled

Fort Scott High School's soccer match with Columbus, scheduled for Thursday afternoon at Ellis Park, was postponed until 4:30 p.m. Monday due to the rain making field conditions poor. The Tigers are not scheduled to play prior to Monday. Fort Scott's girls' golf team was to send three players to Parsons Thursday but rain washed out that event. Taste of Fort Scott set for Oct. 17

A wide range of food and beverages will be available to attendees of the Sixth Annual Taste of Fort Scott event scheduled to take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Liberty Theatre, 113 S.
