Students from Fort Scott Christian Heights recently put their creative abilities to the test to become winners in a literary competition. According to FSCH teacher Maria Bahr, the students competed in Crowder College's Crowder Quill competition. FSCH student Josh Schellack received an honorable mention for his nonfiction category-essay called "Defying Stereotypes." Leah Zimmerman was awarded second place for her photography entry, "Future Skater Punk," and Patricia Schafer earned second place in the competition with her poem, "Asking Makes Me.". ...
