WELLSVILLE -- Jayhawk-Linn's girls outscored Wellsville 13-7 in the fourth quarter to take a 37-32 win in Pioneer League play here Friday night. Wellsville's boys picked up a 54-41 win over the Jayhawks. No other details were available. When local law enforcement officers attempted to make a routine traffic stop recently, they made several discoveries that resulted in the arrest of the driver. According to Fort Scott Police Lt. A project to add 17 miles of additional two-lane highway to U.S. Highway 69 between Fort Scott and Arma will not receive any funding from a recent federal economic stimulus bill, Kansas Department of Transportation officials said Friday.
