Uniontown enrollment sees minor number loss

UNIONTOWN -- Enrollment numbers for two USD 235 schools are down just slightly from last year, school officials said. On the 20th day of classes each academic semester, which this year was Monday, all Kansas public schools are required to submit final enrollment numbers to the Kansas Department of Education. Students see first hand where bad decisions lead

Members of the Southeast Kansas Regional Correctional Center's Community Emergency Response Team visited with students at Winfield Scott Elementary School on Wednesday.
