Trampolines can cause injuries

In 2004, about 93,000 children 14 years of age and younger were treated in emergency rooms across the country for trampoline-related injuries -- up from nearly 63,400 children in 1996, a statement from the Safe Kids Kansas organization said. More than 90 percent of these injuries involve home trampolines. Safe Kids Kansas joins the American Academy of Pediatrics in recommending against placing trampolines in the home or yard, the agency statement said...
