There will be a special board meeting to take place at 9 a.m. Saturday in the library of Uniontown Junior Senior High School. The Board will discuss issues of mutual concern and effective governance. According to the printed agenda, the meeting will be for the purpose of conducting a New Board Member Boot Camp, " where those attending will learn "Ten lessons new board members should learn and veteran board members should bear in mind." SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Kansas State senior Kyle Lancaster, a 2002 graduate of Fort Scott High School, finished fourth in men's high jump at the 2007 NCAA Track and Field Championships here last Friday. Lancaster, a redshirt senior, became the first Kansas State athlete to receive All-America honors in the same event four times and just the third in school history to earn such recognition four times.
