Rural family displaced by bedroom blaze

An electrical fire on Thursday ruined a room and caused smoke damage throughout a single story house at 1982 245th St. in rural Bourbon County. No one was home when the blaze broke out, and no injuries were associated with the accident. Owner Todd Madison discovered the fire around 2 p.m. and notified emergency workers.
