Halloween in Gunn Park Saturday evening

The Gunn Park Committee has conjured up a festive new Halloween event this weekend in Fort Scott. The first-ever Halloween in Gunn Park is scheduled to take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the park, located at 1010 Park Ave. Much like the Christmas in the Park event that takes places each year in December, the park will be decorated for the Halloween holiday, and festival-goers will be able to board hayrack rides, enjoy refreshments, and participate in other Halloween-related activities, committee member Diana Mitchell said.. ...

Search for missing Garland man ends in tragedy
