100 YEARS AGO (1906) The Old Settlers Picnic and Reunion, which was to have been held at Uniontown today, was post- poned on account of inclement weather. The event will be held two weeks from today. Several hundred people had gathered at the picnic grounds before the rain commenced, but after the arrangements had been changed they departed for their homes.
