Alfred "Al" Leroy Hanan, 72, of Mound City, Kan., passed away on Oct. 9, 2012, at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Mo.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Mound City. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church.
