Solar panel project focus of citizens' concerns

Bourbon County Commissioners listened to the pros and cons of a solar energy project in the county, and voiced their own thoughts during a discussion at the commission’s meeting Monday.

County residents Pete Owenby and David Beerbower voiced concerns with the project, while Robert Harrington, director of Bourbon County Regional Economic Development, Inc. (REDI) spoke on the project’s proposed benefits.
