Brenda Jo Moser, age 68, Joplin, Mo., passed away on Friday, Dec. 8, 2023, at Mercy of Joplin.

Brenda was born Sept. 8, 1955, in Fort Scott, Kan., one of eight children born to the late James Perry Roberts and Waneda Alberta (Blake) Roberts. Brenda grew up in Fort Scott and graduated from Fort Scott High School. She worked for over 20 years with BBC Electrical in the office where she was currently working. She loved to travel and shop. She loved her family very much, and especially her nieces and nephews and God’s Children. She will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her brothers, Weldon Roberts, James Duane Roberts, Ronald Roberts, and sisters, Rowena Jahansouz, Debby Silvers, and Linda Roberts.

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Donald R. Moser, Jr.; sister, Rhonda Spears of Fort Scott, Kan.; numerous nieces and nephews including James Spears, Stacey Spears, Chris Perry, Brett Perry, and Sara Wray; great-nieces and nephews, Jacoby, Noah, and Dani; and her God Children, Trey Black, Megan Black, Brady, Brody, Boston, and Marcy.

Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with Bruce Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with Jerry Perry, Chris Perry, Brett Perry, Trey Black, James Spears, Mike Parrish, and Clayton Sappington serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2023, from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Parker Mortuary with burial to follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin.
