Uniontown's cross country season 'huge success,' coach says

The saying “quality over quantity” is especially true for the Uniontown Junior High School cross country runners this season.

The junior high duo of Lillyan Robinson, seventh grader, and Beowulf Carpenter, eighth grader, competed in cross country for the first time this season and finished the season with great improvement and results. The pair competed in six meets and earned seven medals (Robinson, four and Carpenter, three.)
