Burn ban begins as city opens valve at Lake Fort Scott to supplement supply

Fort Scott City Manager Brad Matkin announcement that the city began releasing water from Lake Fort Scott Wednesday to replenish Rock Creek Lake was followed Thursday by commissioners approving a burn ban effective.
