County’s 2024 budget approved

Bourbon County Commissioners signed off on the county’s 2024 budget and approved a resolution of the county’s intent to exceed the revenue neutral rate during a special meeting Thursday evening.

Commissioners heard comments from the public during hearings on the revenue neutral rate and budget, and also discussed property taxes and mill levies, assessed valuation, and the makeup of the county’s budget.
