Harris named Dave Regan Senior Player of the Year

Although an arm injury sidelined Hayden Harris’ 2023 season on the Fort Scott High School Tiger baseball team’s pitching staff, it made him a better teammate and leader.

And these traits led to Harris, who graduated from FSHS in May, being recently chosen as the recipient of the Dave Regan Senior Player of the Year award, which is presented to a senior baseball player who “exhibits characteristics of leadership, character, resilience, toughness and the pursuit of excellence,” Tiger Head Coach Josh Regan said.

The award honors a player for not only their efforts on the field, but for their character and leadership skills as well.
