CHC/SEK nearly ready for move to renovated building

The new clinic, which will offer a variety of expanded health care services, is expected to be open April 17.

Officials with Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas continue to prepare for a move into a new clinic at 2322 S. Main St., a building that formerly housed a Price Chopper store.

Robert Poole, director of communication and marketing for CHC/SEK, said a transition team has been meeting weekly to coordinate “all the many logistics” of the move, which is expected to occur in stages the weekend of April 14. The new clinic site will be open April 17.
