Tigers, Lady Tigers defeat Paola to close out tournament

The Fort Scott High School Lady Tigers cruised to a 42-23 victory over the Paola Lady Panthers after a huge second half and the Tiger boys outlasted the Panthers in a hard-fought, low-scoring defensive battle to win 27-22 Friday night in the final games of the Paola tournament.

The Lady Tigers begin the season 3-0 and claimed the tournament championship with the win over the 1-3 Lady Panthers. The Tiger boys improved to 2-1 while the Panthers dropped to 0-4 on the season.
