Tiger swimmers begin season with first-place win

With only five swimmers competing, Fort Scott High School’s boys swim team finished first at its season-opening meet Tuesday in Coffeyville.

Participants in a cooperative that includes Fort Scott, Frontenac and Pittsburg were: Danny Kemmerer, sophomore, Fort Scott; Tallon Bonine, junior, Gavin Caldwell, junior, and freshman Nate Troth, Frontenac; and freshman Andrew Deierling, Pittsburg.
