Carol Vail Keal
We are sad to announce the passing of Carol Vail Keal of Katy, Texas. She passed at the age of 92 on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022 after a long love-filled life. Carol was born June 15, 1930 in Ft. Scott, Kan., and was a 1947 graduate of Fort Scott High School. She met her husband of 58 years, James E. Keal while attending school there. The couple moved to Texas shortly after and never left. Professionally, Carol was a successful realtor for most of her life in the Kingsville and Houston areas. In retirement she and her husband traveled extensively both domestically and abroad. Carol was preceded in death by her husband in 2006. She is survived by her three children, Jim Keal, Jr., Cindy Michalk, and Chuck Keal, along with seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be a private ceremony with only family members present. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
