Eagles soar past Blu Jays to championship game

The Uniontown High School Lady Eagles, a No. 2 seed, dominated another round of the Class 2A girls Sub-State tournament with a 53-38 win over the No. 3 seeded Pleasanton Lady Blu Jays (15-6) Thursday night in Uniontown.

The student section brought the gym alive with energy, and the presence of two pep bands only added to the excitement.
