Lady Eagles trounce Jets; Eagle boys win nail-biter

Uniontown High School’s varsity basketball teams picked up wins against Altoona-Midway on Homecoming night Thursday.

The Lady Eagles (15-1, 6-1) hammered the Jets 63-22 while the Eagle boys (6-10, 1-0) outlasted the Jets 49-44 in a thriller to conclude the varsity doubleheader.
