William A. "Bill" Ballou

William A. "Bill" Ballou, 80, of Hume, Mo., died at Medicalodge Butler, Butler, Mo., on Monday, Jan. 31, 2022. Bill was born to Walter and Juanita Maxine Ballou on Aug. 21, 1941, at Fort Scott, Kan., the oldest of five children. He graduated from Uniontown High School, Uniontown, Kan. Bill was an aircraft painter, working for many years for Cessna and Boeing in Wichita, Kan.

On Nov. 26, 1988, Bill married Judith A. (Randolph) Scheppers.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings. He is survived by his wife Judy; one son, Stephen (Tina) Scheppers; two daughters, Lisa (Scheppers) Taker and Jenny (Scheppers) Reynolds; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

According to Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
