City commissioners approve additional cost to seal wall

A special Fort Scott City Commission meeting was held Thursday evening to consider change orders for the exterior work on the Sharky’s and Hammons buildings. Walls on those buildings have been exposed following the demolition of the Eagle Block building in July.

Commissioners unanimously approved a vote to allow the mayor sign the contract with a change order for the Hammons building and sign the contract only for the Sharky’s building.
