Tax error–how did that happen?

Bourbon County Commissioners on Tuesday gave their thoughts on a process that led to a clerical error discovered in the county’s recently-issued tax statements.

Bourbon County Business Manager Susan Bancroft reported the most recent tax statements mailed had an error on the levied amount in the USD 234 Recreation fund, which will result in higher taxes for some county residents.
