District mill levy to increase due to assessed valuation error

The Uniontown Board of Education on Monday learned that due to a clerical error in calculating assessed valuations, less revenue will be generated unless the 2022 mill levy is increased.

“We are very thankful we went ahead and had that revenue neutral rate hearing,” Howard said. “Had we not, we’d have some issues at this time.”
