Pleasanton tourney to begin today

PLEASANTON — With most schools cancelling school Tuesday, the decision was made to push the Pleasanton Tournament back to a Thursday start. Uniontown’s teams will have the same start times and gym assignments for their first-round games as they would have on Tuesday.

The decision to play Wednesday keeps the rest of the tournament on schedule with the second round on Thursday and the final round on Friday.

Uniontown girls (1-7) face Marmaton Valley (1-7) this afternoon at 4 p.m. in the north gym. The boys (3-5) will follow at 5:30 in the same gym with a contest against Oswego (0-7).

The times and locations for the rest of the tournament will be determined following Wednesday’s games.
