Eck makes first State appearance

HAYS -- Uniontown freshman Colt Eck was 0-2 in his first State experience here Friday at the Kansas State Class 3-2-1A State Wrestling Tournament at Fort Hays State University.

Eck (28-7) was pinned by Scott Resler of Wathena-Riverside in the first round at 145 pounds. He was eliminated by a 12-4 decision by Cole Sramek of Atwood.

Eck was the only Uniontown qualifier this season.
