All-SEK honor to 3 Tigers

Southeast Kansas League runner-up Fort Scott saw three players picked to the All-SEK volleyball team recently, all of them chosen to the First Team.

The Tigers finished second in the SEK at 5-1 with an overall record of 20-17. Chanute won the SEK for the third consecutive season.

Junior Ashley Cook was one of five unanimous selections to the First Team. The others were Chanute juniors Macy Flowers and Anna Bagshaw, Pittsburg sophomore Taylor Muff, and Independence senior Amanda Freeman. Senior Elisha Hasenplaugh and junior Katie Gorman were also named to the First Team as was Labette County senior Rhianne Taylor.

No Tigers were picked for the Second Team, which included Chanute junior Madi Rollins and senior Kelsey Tallent, Independence juniors Lauren Rinck and Taylor Chapman, Coffeyville junior Andrea Newton, Pittsburg freshman Abbie Casper, and Labette County freshman Tristan Gregg.
