Tee up for adult education Sept. 14

ERIE -- A two-person scramble golf tournament to benefit the Eastern Kansas Adult Education Consortium will be held at Prairie Ridge Golf Club, located two miles north of Erie at the junction of U.S. 59 and K-146, at 10 a.m. September 14.

The entry fee is $120 per team, which includes green fees and lunch. Cash prizes will be awarded and other events are on tap.

The Eastern Kansas Adult Education Consortium includes Fort Scott Community College, Neosho County Community College, Labette Community College, Independence Community College, Unified School District 290, Ottawa, and other agencies.
