Evening of Artful Reflections set for November 13

The Bourbon County Arts Council will host the 11th annual Evening of Artful Reflections at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 in the lobby of City State Bank, 1012 U.S. Highway 69 South.

Nancy Swanwick will be the featured artist for the evening, which will feature food, conversation, art, music and spirited bidding on unique items, a news release said.

Musical entertainment will be provided by USD 234 orchestra students. Guest auctioneer Marty Read will be auctioning "one of a kind" art pieces from various artists and other unique items.

Some items included in the auction are a photo titled "Dovecoat Dove" by Martha Scott, jewelry from Bartelsmeyer Jewelry, a handbag from Vintage Junk Trunk, Liberty Theatre tickets, jewelry by Debbie Anderson, and a metal Coleman cooler from 7-Up Bottling. Additional items are being added daily, the release said.

Admittance is a donation to the arts in Bourbon County.
