Linda D. Roberts

Linda Darlene Roberts, 53, passed away on Sept. 1, 2012, at Heritage Healthcare in Chanute, Kan. She was born to James Roberts and Waneda (Blake) Roberts on July 24, 1959, in Sedona, Ariz.

Linda spent most of her childhood in Fort Scott, Kan., and graduated from Fort Scott High School in 1977. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, James Duane and Ronald Keith Roberts.

Linda is survived by four sisters, Rowena Jahansouz of Olathe, Kan., Debby Silvers and Rhonda Spears of Fort Scott, Kan., and Brenda Moser of Joplin, Mo., and one brother Weldon Roberts of Fort Scott, Kan. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, and two great-nieces and one great-nephew. She was also survived by her beloved cat Bart.

A celebration of life service will be held for Linda at Lincoln Park in Pittsburg, Kan. At 6 p.m. on Sept. 28, 2012. Arrangements are under the direction of Midland Cremation Society, Joplin, Mo.
