Marie and William Cox -- 40 years

William "Bill" and Marie Cox of Nevada will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Aug. 7, 2011, with a small family dinner at the Gobbler's Roost in Nevada, hosted by their children and their spouses.

Bill and the former Marie Hahn were married Aug. 7, 1971, in Hickory Hill, Mo. They have four children, Buffie (Cox) and Kevin Mock, Stilwell, Kan., Bonnie (Cox) and Chuck Paquin, Leavenworth, Kan., Amanda (Cox) and Brandon Fisher, Nevada, Mo., and Jamin and Jill Cox, Fort Smith, Ark.; and six grandchildren, Addyson and Rhyan Mock, Wade and Sawyer Paquin, and Colson and Eden Fisher.
