Diana and Wayne Leatherman, Metz, Mo., along with siblings Alex and Olivia Leatherman, are pleased to announce the birth of their daughter and sister Sophia Claire Leatherman on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at 8:09 a.m. at Mercy Health Center.

Sophia weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Verle and Grace Giesbrecht, Louisville, Ga.

Paternal grandparents are Tim and Kendra Leatherman, Mtz, Mo.
