Drive-thru clinic returns

The annual drive-thru flu shot clinic is returning for another year.

Local residents will be able to get a flu shot without leaving the car by attending the Southeast Kansas Multi-County Health Department's annual drive-thru flu shot clinic at the First United Methodist Church, 301 S. National Ave.

The clinic will be held Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. The cost of the flu shot is $30, however if paying with cash or check, the cost will be discounted to $25.

The following insurance plans are accepted: Medicare Part B (if brought with secondary insurance) Medicaid and Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

All insurance cards must be presented at the time of the shot. Railroad insurance will not be accepted.

Those who wish to receive a flu shot should enter from Main Street on to Fourth Street to the south driveway.
