Brycen Chance Solano, a boy, was born at 10:40 a.m. Sunday at Mercy Health Center to parents Fabian Solano and Nikki Leach, Fort Scott. He weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces at birth. Maternal grandparents are Cindy Garrett, Fort Scott, and Richard Leach, Coffey Creek, Mont. Paternal grandparents are Katrina Ashmore and Willard Ashmore, Burlington, Kan.
