Freshmen suffer shutout loss at hands of Pittsburg

Fort Scott High School's freshmen football team suffered a 21-0 shutout at the hands of Pittsburg at Frary Field Monday night.

The Purple Dragons led 14-0 at the half as Jordan Elliott scored from short distance on a dive play and RaShawn Davis bolted in from 75 yards out with three seconds remaining in the half. Davis added a 24-yard scoring run with 3:16 left in the third quarter.

The freshmen gridders, 1-2, head to Coffeyville next Monday evening.
