William Isaac Radkay

William Isaac Radkay left us sadly but ever so peacefully on his 95th birthday at Mercy Hospital of Fort Scott, Kansas. He was born September 24, 1911 in the "Strawberry Hill" district of Kansas City, Kansas.

Willie married Louise Finland in 1970 acquiring a stepfamily and becoming a grandfather to her son and daughter's children. They moved from the city to a country home in Prescott, Kansas where he established a job at Prairie View High School in Linn County Kansas as a janitor. He had become the Janitorial Supervisor of five high schools by the time of his retirement following 11 years of service. In his spare time he became quite an artist painting mainly in oils doing a genre of scenes including portraits. Their home was always overflowing with numerous dogs yet every stray creature or individual that wandered by could get a meal.

Preceding his demise was his precious loving wife Louise, who passed away in 1991, and most recently a beloved niece Jean Davis who left us in 2001, his cousin and lifelong buddy Joe Clements in 2003, and his dear aunt Josephine Pinter in 2006. Brokenhearted, his family remaining is a sister Agnes Cummins of Yorba Linda, California, Elizabeth Schneider of Mokena, Illinois, brother Frank Tomasegovich of Fair Oaks, California, and first cousin Dorothy Stamphel and her family of Lenexa, Kansas.

Nieces and nephews include Susan Sikora, Richard Schneider Jr., Ted Tomasegovich, Randy Tomasegovich, Caroline and Alan Cummins, plus Patty Terry and John Uziel Jr.

Stepson James Bousman Jr. of Byron, Georgia and his family Debra Wardlow, James Bousman III, and Robert Bousman, which include his great-grandchildren Jennifer, and Jeff.

Great-nieces and great-nephews are Kelsey and Kody Tomasegovich, Stefney and Cade Tomasegovich, Patty Osten, Debra Kloiber, John Uziel III, Lisa Zeller, Eileen Radanovich and Steve Davis.

Great-great nieces and nephews are Katie Comstock, Amanda Kochsmier, Hannah and Rachel Uziel, Eddie and Sean Radanovich, Darrell Davis, Sgyna and Madlen Tomasegovich and brothers Justin, Farron and Nolan Osten.
